About

My name is Jacqueline Kardush, the creator of Quantum Jewels. I was born and raised in Curitiba, in the south of Brazil where I received my BA in Industrial Design. It was during this time that my interest in jewelry started. Browsing fashionable boutiques in my hometown that carried an array of fun, modern jewelry made with colorful rubber materials sparked a desire to create similar fashion and start a small business.

I don’t remember making much money back then, but it was clearly how I discovered my passion for creating jewelry. Realizing that I didn’t have enough knowledge in metalsmithing for mass production, I sought schools abroad where I could learn about it. Ultimately, I was accepted at Birmingham City University in England, where I received my Master’s degree.

Following the completion of my studies abroad, I was excited to put my creations on the market, so I moved to New York City where I was hired by a large jewelry manufacturer. I quickly moved up the ranks, and in 1997 became their Design Director. Being there for 30 years, I had the opportunity to work with jewelry manufactures abroad and in the US, attend trade shows in Europe and work with the in-house design team assisting them to create collections for mass merchandisers, department stores, and shopping channels, such as QVC and HSN.

Being driven by a new direction in my life, I started learning about energy healing and came across “Quantum Healing”, an evolving field of research that explores how well-being can be influenced by the smallest level of physics, which believes that we can shift energy and support healing by way of mindful intentions. As part of that learning, I also explored the significance of sacred symbols, gems and colors, and how they can hold power that can support a healthy and mindful lifestyle.

And so, Quantum Jewels was born, anchored on that knowledge, combining my extensive experience in the jewelry business and adding a touch of fashion, creating pieces that are supportive of our true essence and are fun and easy to wear. I hope you will enjoy wearing my designs, as much as I enjoyed creating them.
